Badam Halwa Recipe
Almonds( Badam) are rich in Proteins, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, and Vitamin-E. 5-6 Walnuts every day, fill in as a tonic to keep your body solid and dynamic. *If have less time then you can soak them in hot water for 2-3 hours. The almonds will rise when soaked in warm water.

• Almonds
(Badam) - 250 grams. (1 cup)
• Sugar
- 250 gms. (1 cup)
•
Milk - 1 cup.
• Some Kesar
(Saffron) for essence
• Ghee
- 100 gms. ( 1/2 cup)
• Cardamom powder - 6-7 (peel and beat it)
Method
- How to make Badam ka Halwa
- Soak badaam (almonds) in fresh water for 4-5 hours (or overnight).
*If have less time then you can soak them in hot water for 2-3 hours. The almonds will rise when soaked in warm water.
- Peel out the soaked almonds and grind it in a mixer to make rough texture paste with an apt quantity of milk. (don't grind it too much)
- Heat a pan & add 1 tablespoon ghee in it.
- Now add almond paste in pan, add sugar in it. Stir the mixture continuously.
- Take 1 cup milk and mix kesar in it. Now pour this kesar-milk in pan and mix it well.
- Stir the mixture and cook till it gets thick.
- Pour the remaining ghee to the Halwa and mix well. Put some cardamom to it for extra flavour.
Badam halwa is ready to serve..!!
