- 1 kg chicken (cut into small pieces)
- 1-1/2 cups curd or yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon of garam masala (mixture of all spices)
- 1 tablespoon chicken masaala or spices
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Take pieces of chicken but remove as much of the fat as possible because the fat catches fire while cooking and causes the chicken to burn.
- Start with marinating the chicken pieces with the ingredients.
- Mix it well over the chicken pieces, cover the bowl with aluminium foil and leave it whole night in the refrigerator.
- Now barbecue the chicken, either on a wood or a charcoal fire.
- Keep turning the chicken after few mins for proper cooking of chicken.
Serve hot & delicious Chicken Tikka with green chutney & onions..
