Pav Bhaji Recipe

Pav Bhaji – Pav is an Indian bread and Bhaji is cooked mashed spicy vegetables.

Ingredients:
Fresh bread or bun
Butter
Cauliflower, Capsicum, Beans, carrots -500 grams (a whole cup of vegetables)
Potatoes 200 gms (2-3 medium size)
4 finely chopped tomatoes
3-4 green chillies, chopped
Small amount of grated ginger
1 Teaspoon cumin
Half tsp turmeric powder
Coriander powder -1 1/2 small
½ tsp red chilli powder
Pav Bhaji Masala -2 tsp
A tsp of Garam Masala
Dhaniya(Coriander), finely chopped
Salt to taste

Method to make Pav Bhaji:
  1. Use cooker to boil the vegetables, the potatoes and green vegetables at the same time.
  2. Now make vegetables a slight boil, beans, carrots, cauliflower and potato peel wash, cut into small. Mash vegetables in cooker after opening.
  3. Take a pan on flame, add butter or ghee, add cumin, green chilli, ginger, turmeric powder, coriander powder, pav bhaji masala and add boiled vegetables now. 
  4. Put the tomatoes, salt and spices and cook for 5-6 minutes while stirring.
  5. Add garam masala on vegetable mix and turn off the gas.
  6. Take out in a bowl, put butter and do coriander garnish.

       Yummy…. Pav Bhaji is ready…!!
